The Mamiya 645AF and its lenses are one of the latest medium-format cameras. It was released in Japan in September 1999, and they represent the pinnacle of Mamiya’s capabilities in terms of ease of use and image quality. Thanks to their aluminum body, they are also very durable.
The AF system helps with focusing, especially for those with a bit worse eyesight. Perfect for studio work or medium-dynamic outdoors photography, it is not suitable for sports.
The camera is fully operational and in very good condition. It recently underwent a technical inspection and was cleaned in a specialized workshop. The 55, 80 and 150 mm lenses are also in impeccable condition and fully operational. In the 210mm lens the auto-focus unfortunately does not work, one has to focus manually. All lenses have slightly “sticky” rubbers, but this in no way interferes with shooting with them, it is just a visual issue..
