The Vivitar 135/2.8 lens is in MINT condition and comes with both lids and a protective eco leather case.
If you’re looking to get a fast medium telephoto and experiment with manual focus, catch-in focus, or something fun without breaking the bank, this is an excellent one to buy. The lens was made by Komine, the same company, which made the legendary Series 1 lenses for Vivitar. They didn’t cheap out on this one either!
The lens draws very nice images, it is sharp in the center and quite soft in the corners. Great for taking portraits with distinct separation of your model from the background. Very nice bokeh. Out of the two versions of this lens, this is the sharper one with 8 aperture blades. Vivitar really did an excellent job designing this one!
Thanks to the universal M42 mount this lens can be mounted to almost any modern day dSLR (sorry Nikon!) or mirrorless camera.
Glasses are clean, aperture also, nothing to do but take it and shoot with it. 🙂
