The Zenza Bronica GS-1 is a medium format single-lens reflex (SLR) camera that was introduced in March 1983. It is notable for being the largest SLR produced by Bronica and the first medium format camera to feature TTL (Through The Lens) flash metering. Designed to compete with the Mamiya RB/RZ67 systems, the GS-1 is recognized for its compactness and lightweight design, making it suitable for handheld shooting in various environments. The Bronica GS-1 is much lighter and handier than its Mamiya counterpart. It is also less expensive, offering comparable (and certainly not inferior) quality of images taken.

Condition
In general this Bronica GS-1 kit is in very good/good condition, with the following caveats:
– body, lenses, film backs, speed grip, etc. are fully functional, in very good technical and visual condition, both inside and out.
– AE prism works, but has a broken one of the profiles attaching the prism to the body–in pictures. Glasses and mirrors fine, metering works flawlessly, but with this broken profile, it is impossible to securely mount the prism without additional solutions like rubber bands or tape to hold the prism.
Other than that, the whole kit works flawlessly, and can be successfully used with an external light meter, which many photographers prefer anyway – such as with classic Hasselblads or Rolleiflexes.
This GS-1 camera set comes with 12 months warranty and is covered by our super simple 30 days return policy!
